The University of Perpetual Help System's Office of International and External Affairs (OIEA) welcome scholars and students from around the world. The Office provides orientation, counseling and services to international students and scholars in immigration, financial, personal and cross-cultural issues. We are committed to being a reliable, efficient, and professional resource, and we consider ourselves your advocates in the University and beyond. Established as a system-wide office in January 2007, OIEA proactively facilitates, promotes, and organizes the international programs, events, support, and initiatives to more fully diversify the university in the international perspectives in all aspects of teaching, research and community service. This is achieved through:

International Promotion of the University's Curricular Program which :

  • Advocates and promote knowledge of and sensitivity towards foreign cultures and their political, social and national environment;

  • Offers efficient and effective use of the services of the Institure of Language and Cultural Diversity in the provision of English language acquisition courses;

  • Encourages / invites interested students the opportunity to gain a portion of their education in another country; and

  • Assures appropriate support services for our undergraduate and graduate students participating in international activities, as well as for international students who come to UPH.

International On-the-Job Training

Provides opportunity to the students to gain international experience by completing part of their education in a foreign host country and to foster mutual understanding and cooperation between the host country and the Philippines.

International Visitor Coordination

Advises administrative staff and faculty members on international matters and develops university-wide policies and procedures pertaining to international programs.

International Program Development

Provides assistance to faculty members in proposal development and the identification of external funding.

International Ties

Bilateral Agreements and Participation in networks and organizations.
