University of Perpetual Help System DALTA (UPHSD) Calamba Campus

The 3rd University of Perpetual Help System DALTA (UPHSD) branch, the UPHSD Calamba campus was established in 1996 with only 360 students. To date, its enrollment has dramatically increased to 3,500 enrollees. Strategically located in Barangay Paciano Rizal, Calamba City, the 4-hectare university has an impressive line of state-of-the-art educational facilities conducive for learning. Living up to the standards set by its mother institution, the Calamba campus continues to promote the Perpetualite vision and mission of being a premier university system in the Philippines that develops the Filipino into Helpers of God. With an extensive network of national and international linkages in higher education and business. UPHSD Calamba Campus is preparing the globally competitive Filipinos by providing venues for the pursuit of excellence.

Cercado tops the Spelling tilt in the 3rd YMCA Campference

Our very own Isaiah Miguel E. Cercado of the Grade School Department topped the Spelling tilt in the 3rd Young Men’s Christian Association ( YMCA ) National Advisers’ Seminar-Workshop and Junior Leaders Campference last January 27-30, 2012 at the Benitez Hall, Teachers’ Camp, Baguio City.

The campference was participated in by 46 schools with 445 delegates both in private and public. It was a very memorable and worthwhile experience to the 19 delegates of the G.S. department that they had their opportunity to mingle and work well with others and to vie zealously in different competitions.

It was more rewarding when our delegates won in different competitions namely, Mikaela Lois Sobejana, fourth runner –up Ms. Y Campference, Mica Ella R. Esteban, 4th place in Word Factory, and Liandro Kent F. Villaganas, 4th place in chess.
