Program Overview
Pharmacy education is a four year Bachelors Degree which provides a broad spectrum of scientific training and can lead to employment in a wider range of scientific fields principally in higher education institutions, community drug stores, hospitals, in government agencies, research establishments, public health and pharmaceutical industry. It should also encompass pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, household hazardous substances, drug delivery devices and veterinary medicines.
College of Pharmacy Affiliate
The College of Pharmacy was invited by WATSONS PERSONAL CARESTORES, PHILS. INC. MANAGEMENT last September 29, 2010 for the affiliation contract signing of our community pharmacy internship at the SM MALL OF ASIA. The MOA signing was attended by Dean Ma. Victoria Mendoza, Mrs. Ermira Brijuega (Community Pharmacy Internship Coordinator), Dean Imelda Javier (Cluster III Director), Student Members of SIGNA (Official Newsletter of the College). The UPHR JONELTA BIÑAN representatives were also present: Dean Eileen Buhisan, Mr. Charles Filio, Mrs. Anna Malalay and some students. Present from Watsons were Mr. Robert Sun, Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Lyle Joseph Morrell, Director-Health Business Unit, Ms. Divina Gracia Esperidion, Human Resources Manager, Mr. Adam Siy, Training Officer and other Officers.
