 College of Medical Technology Logo The College of Medical Technology has competency based curriculum taught by faculty members who are highly qualified with experience in both teaching and clinical laboratory setting. It has its own laboratory setting. It has its own laboratory with complete equipment and instruments for professional subjects. It is a discipline in medical health care practice concerned in identifying diseases and managing patients condition through laboratory diagnostics tests and methodologies.
Vision
The College of Medical Technology commits itself to the total development of career men and women who shall be experts in the cognitive and practical skills involved in laboratory procedures and well versed on the values and ethics of the practice of Medical Technology profession as they relate to the rest of mankind.
Mission
The College of Medical Technology is envisioned to be a premier school of Medical Technology in the Philippines who shall produce globally competitive Medical Technologists graduates.
GENERAL OBJECTIVES
- To develop career men and women who shall help supplement the clinical diagnosis and management of human diseases.
- To develop career men and women who shall be a part of the scientifically literate Filipino citizenry who shall be serving their countrymen and mankind without prejudice.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
- balancing the basic professional courses using both formal and non-formal instruction
- providing the students the knowledge and skills needed by a Medical Technologists to be able to work in various areas namely, clinical laboratory, research, administration and the academe.
- Inculcating the correct attitude towards work.
- Enhancing employability of graduate by regularly reviewing and upgrading the curriculum and facilities to make it relevant.
- To provide enrichment learning to students to produce highly competent graduates who shall be experts in the technical aspects of laboratory medicine.
